By A Staff Reporter, Kathmandu, Jan. 12: The Police has opened fire at Boudhdha in Kathmandu.
The police resorted to firing of a round of bullet to arrest gangster Bishnu Lama as Lama tried to run away after encountering the police at Jambhudanda area. Following a tip, a team of the police from Metropolitan Police Circle Boudha had reached the area to nab gangster Lama.
Lama suffered an injury below the knee due to the police firing, informed Uttam Raj Subedi, Nepal Police spokesperson.
Lama has been sent to hospital for treatment.
