Mahottari, Dec 7 : Computer classes have not been run in the Secondary School Bhangaha-Sitapur at Siddhapur of Bhangaha municipality-5 in the district. As a result, 22 computers worth tens of thousands rupees are gathering dust.    
    
Although students are desperate to learn computer, lack of subject teacher has dampened their hope.    
    
The computers bought by the school itself and some provided by District Education Coordination Unit are gathering dust for two years. Principle Shreeram Yadav worried over the computer getting dysfunction for leaving unused for long.    
    
In the school running class up to Grade 12, the higher body was not paying attention to provide subject teacher to teach computer, he added.    
    
However, a guardian from Bhangaha-4, Govinda Khan Tharu, said neither teachers nor school management committee has paid attention to this regard.    
    
Currently, there are 1,300 students in the school. There are 160 students at Grade 11 and 12 combined.    
    
Nepali subject teacher Kamal Bahadur Shrestha informed that students especially above Grade 8 were curious to learn computer skills.    
    
To this regard, municipality mayor Sanjeev Kumar Saha said the schools in the municipality have poor physical infrastructures, and huge budget was spent on their repair. So, computer teachers could not be managed, he added.
