By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec. 1: A French national has been arrested on the charge of child sexual abuse.
According to the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) administration branch of the police, a 60- year old, Christian Surge Hennery Nougarat, was arrested from riverbank of Fursekhola of Barauta Power House, Pokhara, yesterday.
As per the press release by the CBI, the accused was arrested while conducting the act of abuse to three minors aged 7, 8 and 13 years.
The victim minors were immediately handed over to the parents after the incident.
It has been found that the French national came to Nepal on non-tourist visas.
The CBI informed that the accused who was arrested on the crime of abusing minors and involving in unnatural sexual act was handed over to District Police Office, Kaski, for the purpose of proceeding ahead with the legal actions by conducting further investigation.
