Tulasipur, Nov 2 : A 15-bed hospital has come into operation at the Banglachuli rural municipality of Dang. The hospital service began on Friday from the Kavre health post located at Kamirechaur, the service centre of the rural municipality.
It was established as per the policy of the federal government to establish a 15-bed hospital in every local level. Medical Officer Basant Shah initiated the service by carrying out medical examination of State Assembly member Amar Bahadur Dangi.
The rural municipality has managed internal resources to appoint doctors and health personnel, said the rural municipality Chair Bhakta Bahadur Oli.
State Assembly member Dangi said the government was working as per the needs of the people, to ensure advanced health services in the rural parts of the country.
Banglachuli rural municipality is the first local level government to bring a 15-bed hospital into operation. The Rapti Institute of Health Sciences in Ghorai Sub-metropolis and the Rapti State Hospital in Tulasipur Sub-metropolis are other big hospitals in the district.
