By TRN Online, Kathmandu, July 28: The meeting of the ruling coalition has concluded. The meeting had kicked off on Wednesday morning at the Prime Minister's residence in Baluwatar.

Mahesh Chaurashiya, press coordinator of Janata Samajwadi Party-Nepal (JSP-N) Chairman  Upendra Yadav, said, "The leaders have reached an agreement to expand the Council of Ministers at the earliest."

Chaurashiya said that discussions as to the submission of the field of specialisation of the leaders of coalition parties were also held in the meeting.

Meanwhile, the meeting of the JSP-N Executive Committee is being held today at 1:00 pm. The meeting is expected to appoint leader, deputy-leader and whip of the JSP-N's parliamentary party.

Similarly, Bishnu Sapkota, press coordinator of NCP (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' said that discussions as to the expansion of the cabinet and basic policy and programme of the government were held in today's coalition meeting.

Dr. Bijaya Poudel of CPN-UML Madhav Kumar Nepal's faction and Chairman of Rastriya Janamorcha Party Chitra Bahadur KC were also present in the meeting.
