Chitwan, April 21 : The Shova Yatra (colourful procession) along with the idols of Lord Ram, Sita, Laxman and Hanuman) has marched towards Madi from Devghat at 8.30 this morning.
The procession was seen off from Devghat with the recital of Vedic mantras on the presence of Minster for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Bhanubhakta Dhakal, Galeswor Ashram Peethadhish Mahamandaleswor Atmananda Giriji Maharaj and office-bearers of Devghat Area Development Committee.
Executive Director of Devghat Area Development Committee, Dhiran Babu Ghimire informed that the local residents of Devghat saw off the procession with the pitcher march.
The idols of Ram, Sita, Laxman and Hanuman have been brought from the Office of Prime Minster on Tuesday for their installation in a temple constructed at Ayodhyadham of Madi.
The idols are scheduled to be installed in the Ram Temple at 12.00 this afternoon. The special ceremony would be attended by Minster Dhakal, Bagmati province chief minister Dormani Poudel and other high-ranking officials.
