Kavrepalanchowk, Oct 6: President Bidya Devi Bhandari visited the Palanchowk Bhagawati at Panchkhal municipality-9 in the district and paid homage to the goddess Bhagawati on the occasion of the Maha Astami.
After paying homage to the goddess, the Head of the State inquired with local representatives about the progress in regard with the rebuilding of the temple damaged by the Gorkha earthquake.
District Coordination Committee chief Uddhav KC and deputy chief Manju Gautam, Dhulikhel municipality mayor Ashok Byanju and Panchkhal municipality deputy mayor Laxmi Danuwar welcomed the President.
