Kathmandu, July 16: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has directed the Health Ministry to increase the number of vaccination centres for common people’s easy access to vaccines against COVID-19.

Following the people’s complaints of the long lines at vaccination centres in the Kathmandu Valley, PM Deuba called Chief Secretary Shankar Das Bairagi and Secretary at Ministry of Health and Population, Laxman Aryal, and directed them to ensure citizen’s easy access to the anti-COVID vaccine.

They were also directed to make arrangements for the people so that they could adopt adequate health and safety measures. Immediately after assuming the office, the Cabinet meeting chaired by PM Deuba had decided to manage anti-COVID vaccines to all qualified citizens by coming April.
