Kathmandu, Sept. 30: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has called an all-party meeting on Thursday to remove obstructions in the parliamentary session.
PM’s personal secretary Bhanu Deuba said that the Prime Minister has called a meeting of the political parties represented in the parliament at 10:00 AM in the official residence of the Prime Minister, Baluwatar.
The Prime Minister has called the meeting as an initiative towards smooth proceedings of House meetings and to maintain an environment of understanding among the political parties, said Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand.

Lawmaker and vice-chairman of Rastriya Janamorcha Durga Poudel said she was invited to attend the all party meeting called by the Prime Minister.
There are eight active political parties in the federal parliament including CPN -UML, Nepali Congress, CPN (Maoist Centre), CPN (Unified Socialist), Janata Samajwadi Party, Loktantrik Samajwadi Party, Nepal Workers and Peasants Party, Rastriya Janamorcha and Rastriya Prajatantra Party.

The meeting has been called at a time when the main opposition CPN-UML has been obstructing the House proceedings for not forwarding parliamentary action against its 14 lawmakers expelled by the party.
Earlier on Wednesday morning, Prime Minister Deuba and Chairman of CPN (Maoist Centre) Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ held a meeting at Baluwatar.

It is learnt that both leaders held discussions on giving cabinet a full shape and also the future course of the government, Prachanda’ press coordinator Bishnu Sapkota said.
Prime Minister Deuba has been requesting the coalition parties to nominate the names of ministers to complete the cabinet.
Chairman Prachanda met the Prime Minister before the standing committee meeting of CPN (MC).

Speaking at the standing committee meeting ‘Prachanda’ said that the cabinet would get full shape after a meeting of the ruling coalition to be held on Thursday, said Dev Gurung, standing committee member of
CPN (MC).
During the meeting Prachanda said that cabinet expansion was delayed due to some legal hurdles and that the ruling was preparing to give full shape to the cabinet, Gurung added.
The ruling coalition has been able to give complete shape to the cabinet even two months after the formation of the government.
