Saptari, Feb. 22: Nepali Congress senior leader Ram Chandra Paudel has said that the House of Representatives will be reinstated.
Speaking at a press meet organised by Nepal Press Union Saptari chapter in Rajbiraj on Sunday, senior leader Paudel said that there was no alternative to the reinstatement of the House as Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli had not abided by any Article of the Constitution while dissolving the House of Representatives.
Paudel, who is also a former Speaker, urged Prime Minister Oli to launch a movement together with the Nepali Congress.
“The Prime Minister, a few days ago, threatened the Election Commission to give him the election symbol of Sun and yesterday he threatened the Supreme Court stating that if the court reinstates the House, he will launch a movement,” Paudel said.
Leader Paudel said that he was confident that the House would be reinstated.
Paudel has been to Saptari to meet the senior leaders of the Nepali Congress living in many villages of the district.
