Chitwan, Oct 11: Nepal Communist Party (NCP) chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' Friday said that multidimensional benefits would be secured from the Chinese President's state visit taking place from Saturday.
In his address to a programme organised at Madi of Chitwan today to unveil a memorial transcription about Diwakar Bhusal, the former Prime Minister said that the Chinese President's visit would be of high significance for Nepal.
On the occasion, a life-size statue of Bhusal was unveiled.
"Nepal, China and India have strong and powerful governments at present and the meaning of Chinese President's visit taking place in this context would not limit to just 'arrival and departure' ritual," Dahal said.
On a different note, he said that he was committed to the development of Madi area. Stating that the party was launching a mega campaign soon, he urged leaders, cadres and well-wishers to gear up for the same.
NCP general secretary Bishnu Prasad Poudel praised Bhusal as party's ideal and prominent leader.
Likewise, NCP spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha also admired Bhusal, mentioning another context that the party unification had reached its final state.
On the occasion, journalist Narayan Prasad Pariyar and those who helped construct the statue were honoured.
Prior to this, NCP chair Dahal inaugurated a surgery building for Baghauda Hospital in Madi amid an event.
On the occasion, he pledged to initiate for increasing the 15-bed hospital to 50.
