Kathmandu, Oct. 4: The Secretariat meeting of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) scheduled for Saturday afternoon has been postponed until Sunday.
The meeting is expected to dwell on Cabinet reshuffle and other issues related to party’s organizational unity.
The decision to put off the meeting for Sunday afternoon was jointly taken by two party Chairmen Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’.
Friday’s meeting held between the two chairmen had decided to call the party Secretariat meeting for today.
Prachanda’s press advisor Bishnu Sapkota said decision to postpone the meeting was taken with an agreement, as there is a need for further homework to set the agendas of the meeting. The Secretariat meeting on September 20 had given the responsibility to the two chairmen to reach an agreement regarding the Cabinet reshuffle and conclude the remaining party unification tasks.
