The meeting kicked off at 9:15 in the morning and lasted till 11:00, informed Ramsharan Bajgain, media expert of the PM.

The PM's secretariat informed that the meeting held between the Chairmen-duo on Sunday had ended on a positive note and today's talks held between the Chairmen was continuation to the meeting held on Sunday.

Former PM and NCP leader Jhalanath Khanal and Subash Chandra Nembang, deputy leader of the NCP parliamentary party, were present as witnesses in the meeting.

"Although it is being said that the meetings held between the Chairmen on Sunday and today ended on a positive note, no concrete agreement has been reached yet," said Bishnu Prasad Sapkota, press advisor of Chairman Prachanda.

The meeting of the Standing Committee, which was held intermittently for a few times since it began over a month ago, has been put off indefintly due to the intra-party feud.
