By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 23: The Ministry of Health and Population today confirmed 32 new COVID-19 cases, taking the national tally to 548.
Eight persons, a female and seven males of Banganga Municipality, Kapilvastu, 13 men from Godaita Kabilashi Municipality, Sarlahi and two females from Kathmandu and Karaiyamai Rural Municipality, Bara were identified with infection of SARS-CoV-2 that causes COVID-19 in Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test done at National Public Health Laboratory (NPHL), Kathmandu.
Likewise eight men from Gaidahawa and Rohini Rural Municipality, Rupandehi and a male from Bharatpur-6, Chitwan tested positive for the virus in PCR test done at Bhairahawa Provincial Public Health Laboratory and COVID-19 laboratory of Bharatpur Hospital respectively.
