Kathmandu, Sept. 12: The National Assembly (NA) on Thursday endorsed two bills related to forests and environment. The Assembly passed the bills unanimously.
The two bills are include the 'Environment Protection Bill, 2075 BS' and the 'Forests Bill, 2075 BS'.
Minister for Forests and Environment, Shakti Bahadur Basnet had presented the bills along with the Legislation Management Committee's reports on them in the upper house meeting.
The next NA meeting is scheduled to take place at 3 pm on September 15.
