Kathmandu, Mar. 7: The seventh session of the House of Representatives is beginning from Sunday. The meeting is summoned at 4 PM at the Parliament House, New Baneshwor.
The session is regarded to be important because the House is convening after the Supreme Court reinstated it on February 23. President Bidya Devi Bhandari, in the recommendation of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, had dissolved the House on December 20 last year.
The Federal Parliament secretariat said it had completed all required preparatory works for the seventh session of the parliament.
Members of Parliament were asked to be present in the session.
Rojnath Pandey, secretary at the Parliament Secretariat, said that the secretariat completed all the preparations for the session. According to him, seats have been managed, assembly hall disinfected, and the lawmakers, officials and staffer were administered the COVID-19 vaccine.
“All the requirements have been managed for the smooth session, we are ready on our part,” he added. The session of the Lower House is beginning amidst the piling disputes inside the ruling Nepal Communist Party.
