Kathmandu, Jan. 25: The National Examination Board (NEB), Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, has said that the results of Grade XII were likely to publish this week.
The NEB said that it was now verifying the grade sheets of the students and it would publish the results after completing the verification work.
Prof. Dr. Chandramani Poudel, chairperson of the NEB, said the NEB would make public the results by Friday.
The results were delayed as schools had given marks at their whims and not based on merits, Poudel said.
This year the colleges themselves were authorised to conduct examinations and because of that they needed to reverify the details sent by schools, the NEB said. This year the board had conducted a written test of only 40 marks in light of COVID-19 pandemic.
