By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Nov. 12: With 1,913 new cases of novel coronavirus confirmed on Thursday, Nepal's COVID-19 tally has spiked to 204,242.
"As many as 2,531 persons were found with the SARS-CoV-2 infection in the last 24 hours," informed the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) in its update.
Currently, there are 38,461 active cases of COVID-19 in the country and 974 are placed in quarantine.
Meanwhile, some 2,349 COVID-19 patients either receiving treatment in various health facilities or staying in home isolation recovered from the infection in the last 24 hours. With this, Nepal has recorded 164,592 cases of recoveries until now.
Moreover, 15 persons succumbed to the novel coronavirus infection in the last 24 hours. Nepal's COVID-19 death toll has now reached 1,189.
