By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec. 1: With 1,304 new cases of novel coronavirus confirmed on Tuesday, the national COVID-19 tally has reached 234,756.
"As many as 1,304 persons were found to have been infected with SARS-CoV-2," informed the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) in its update.
Meanwhile, 2,073 COVID-19 patients receiving treatment institutional isolation or staying in home isolation recovered from the infection in the last 24 hours. Nepal has now recorded 216,594 cases of recoveries.
Moreover, as many as 21 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours and with this, the national COVID-19 related death tally has reached 1,529.
