By A Staff Reporter Kathmandu, Sept. 11: Catheter kept in throat nerve of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli during the kidney treatment in Singapore has been removed on Wednesday. The catheter was removed by doctors in Manamohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Centre. The catheter put in throat nerve of the Prime Minister while conducting plasmapheresis to control unnecessary antibody from the body has been removed, said senior cardiologist Dr. Arun Sayami. “The condition of the Prime Minister is normal,” Dr Sayami said. The Prime Minister has returned to Official Residence in Baluwatar after removing the catheter. The PM had undergone kidney transplant some 12 years ago in Apollo Hospital in New Delhi. The process plasmapheresis was applied in removing excess antibody presented in body of the Prime Minister in National University Hospital of Singapore in his recent Singapore treatment visit in between August 22 to September 6. Earlier, the Prime Minister had been in NUH Singapore for the treatment in between August 3 to 12.
