By Muna Hamal, Surkhet, June 23: Nepal has recorded 23rd COVID-19 death Monday evening.
A 45-year old COVID-19 patient of Dullu Municipality, Dailekh, who was receiving treatment at Surkhet Provincial Hospital died on Monday.
Dr KN Poudel, Corona focal person of the hospital, confirmed that he died from COVID-19.
“The deceased was a tuberculosis patient and was under medication for the same for more than two years,” said Dr Poudel, “He had visited the hospital on June 17 for treatment.”
He tested positive for the virus on June 18. He was immediately shifted to isolation, added Dr Poudel.
