By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Oct. 4: The Supreme Court said that Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JB Rana's name was irrelevantly dragged into the issue concerning the expansion of the Council of Ministers.
Issuing a press statement on Monday, Baburam Dahal, spokesperson of the SC, objected to the news reports claiming CJ Rana's involvement in the cabinet expansion.
In the statement, the Top Court condemned the news reports which fabricated that the Chief Justice had sought his 'quota' in the cabinet expansion.
Spokesperson Dahal also challenged the media to prove the authenticity of the baseless news.
