By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Aug. 20: The three day's vaccination campaign that is targeting to inoculate students of Ten Plus two (+2) and university level, above 18 years, and people above 40 years, with the first dose of Vero Cell, has begun today in the Kathmandu Metropolitan City area.

According to Badri Bahadur Khadka, Health Chief at the Health Office, Kathmandu the vaccination campaign has started today and will continue for three days by August 22.

“Students studying in Ten Plus Two (+2) and  University level students who will be giving exam shortly, can receive the first dose of Vero Cell vaccine by showing the admit card for their upcoming examination,” said Chief Khadka. Likewise, the Health Office, Kathmandu is also administering the first dose of Vero Cell to people above 40 years of age.

According to Chief Khadka, 32 wards of Kathmandu Metropolitan City and additional vaccination centres have been allocated for the purpose.

Besides that, in order to avoid congestion in vaccination centres, other municipalities can designate vaccination centres in their own wards.

One can receive the vaccine from Armed Police Hospital, Balambu, Birendra Hospital, Chhauni, Radhaswami Isolation Center, Samakhusi, Nepal Police Hospital, Maharajgunj, Bir Hospital, Ratnapark, Civil Service Hospital of Nepal, Baneshwor, Paropakar Maternity and Women's Hospital, Thapathali, and Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj.
