Rolpa, Aug 6: Patients with viral fever were increasing in the district amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to the medical superintendent of the district hospital Dr Adhar Oli, over 50 cases were recorded daily in the district.
Most of them were coming to the hospital with the symptoms of high fever, diarrhoea and the common cold, Oli said. He added that such patients were found visiting other health centres in the district as well.
Similarly, 10 to 12 patients with Amoebiasis and Giardiasis were visiting in the district hospital daily. Some of them were found worried about COVID-19 infection and reach in the hospital.
One such patient of Rolpa Municipality-2 Bharat Mahara reached the hospital with similar symptoms and tested COVID-19 but the result was negative.
