Kathmandu, Dec.20: A total of 3,072,387 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine has arrived in Nepal on Monday.
According to Dr. Surendra Chaurasia, chief of the Logistic Management Section under the Department of Health Services, over 1.8 million (1,870,500) doses of Covishield have arrived from India.
Similarly, over 1.2 million (1,201,887) doses of Vero Cell have arrived here from China.
Vero Cell is provided under concessional loan assistance by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and Covishield is provided under the COVAX facility by India.
