Minister Thapa tests positive for COVID-19

Kathmandu, April 30: Minister for Water Supply and Sanitation, Mani Chandra Thapa, has tested positive for coronavirus this mornning.    

Swab of Minister Thapa was collected on Thursday after his daughter tested positive for coronavirus four days ago, said Minister Thapa’s personal secretary, Rajendra Gautam.    

However, PCR report of Secretariat members of Minister Thapa was negative. Minister Thapa is taking rest at the minister quarter in Pulchowk after testing positive for Covid-19.    

He is now suffering from minor cold and cough.
