By Gopal Parajulu, Biratnagar, Nov. 17: Chief Minister of Province 1 Rajendra Kumar Rai has obtained the vote of confidence from the Provincial Assembly today.
In the Assembly where 79 lawmakers were present, CM Rai got 50 votes for his proposal that the Provincial Assembly has confidence in him, with 29 against his proposal.
The Province 1 Assembly is a 92-member House.
Speaker Pradip Kumar Bhandari declared that CM Rai got vote of confidence of the House as CM Rai got a majority of votes of the existing number of lawmakers of the province.
