By Avinash Chaudhary, Dhangadhi, Apr. 25: Kailali has recorded yet another COVID-19 related fatality today.
A 62-year-old male of Godawari Municipality succumbed to the virus infection on Sunday morning while under treatment at Seti Provincial Hospital.
He was admitted to the hospital on April 21 and had tested positive for the virus on April 22.
With this, the COVID-19 death toll of Kailali has reached 45, informed the District Administration Office, Kailai.
Shivaraj Adhikari, information officer at the Kailali DAO said that 17 people from Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City, 13 from Godawari Municipality, and two each from Tikapur Municipality, Gauriganga Municipality and Bardagoriya Rural Municipality have died of COVID-19 until now. The remaining nine are from other districts.
