By Laxman Poudel, Bhairahawa, June 12: A 35-year old youth of Susta, Nawalparasi (West) who died at Sunauli border point while returning to Nepal from India has tested positive for COVID-19.
As per the information received from India's side, his Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test revealed that he was infected with the virus, said Inspector Ishwari Adhikari, chief of Belahiya Police.
"The dead body had been taken to India's hospital for COVID-19 test," said Adhikari. "The last rites will be performed in India itself."
The youth was returning to Nepal from Mumbai. He breathed his last on Wednesday morning at around 4:00 AM at Sunauli Border.
