By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Sept. 5: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) on Saturday confirmed nine COVID-19 related deaths.
Nine persons, three females and six males, succumbed to the virus infection in the last 24 hours, informed Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, spokesperson of the ministry in the daily press briefing today.
Of the three females, a 43-year-old of Morang, a 52-year-old of Makwanpur and 37-year-old Nawalparasi, succumbed to the virus infection in the last 24 hours.
Likewise, six males, a 75-year-old Parsa, a 78-year-old of Mahottari, three males aged 41, 59, 65 of Kathmandu and a 40-year-old of Rupandehi, who had tested positive for the virus died while receiving treatment at various health facilities across the nation.
With this, the COVID-19 death toll of Nepal has reached 280.
