With 11 fatalities, COVID-19 death toll reaches 300

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Sept. 7: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) on Monday confirmed 11 COVID-19 related deaths.

11 people, four females and seven males, succumbed to the virus infection in the last 24 hours, informed Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, spokesperson of the ministry, in the daily press briefing today.

Three females aged 37, 90 and 83 of Kathmandu and a 63-year-old female of Kaski, two males aged 87 and 62 of Siraha, a 76-year-old male of Morang, a 35-year-old male of Sarlahi, a 69-year-old male of Dholakha, a 39-year-old male of Makwanpur and a 59-year-old male of Banke died while receiving treatment at various health facilities across the nation.

With this, the COVID-19 death toll of Nepal has reached 300 and the death rate stands at 0.64 per cent.
