With 10 new fatalities, Nepal's COVID-19 death toll reaches 491

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Sept. 29: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) on Tuesday confirmed 10 COVID-19 related deaths.

Ten persons, three females and seven males, succumbed to the novel coronavirus infection in the last 24 hours, revealed the daily report released by the MoHP today.

A 68-year-old male of Morang, a 72-year-old female of Sarlahi, a 58-year-old male of Mahottari, a 57-year-old female and two males aged 60 and 70 of Kathmandu, a 55-year-old male of Chitwan, a 76-year-old female and two males aged 53 and 39 of Banke, who were infected with the novel coronavirus, died while receiving treatment at various health facilities across the nation.

With this, Nepal's COVID-19 death toll has reached 491 and the death rate stands at 0.64 per cent.
