Likewise, water level in the Riu river at Madi of Chitwan is also rising and is likely to reach the danger level today.
The Division said the areas near the bank of the Bagmati river and its tributaries in Kathmandu Valley are also at high risk of flooding and therefore alertness was warranted.
In like manner, the Division has urged for adopting precaution as the water level is on the rise in the Kankai, Kamala, Bagmati, West Rapti, Babai and their tributaries. It stated that Tinau was on the verge of reaching the danger mark and the water level in Karnali and Mahakali rivers is also going to rise.

It is said the water level in the Koshi and Narayani rivers will decrease on July 22 and remain around the alertness level.
