By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Sept. 8: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) on Tuesday confirmed six COVID-19 related deaths.
Six persons, a female and five males succumbed to the novel coronavirus infection in the last 24 hours, said Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, spokesperson of the ministry in the daily press briefing today.
An 80-year-old female and an 85-year-old male of Kathmandu, a 70-year-old male of Sunsari, two males aged 54 and 60 of Parsa and a 62-year-old male of Kapilvastu, who were infected with the novel coronavirus, died while receiving treatment at various health facilities across the nation.
The COVID-19 death toll has reached 306 and the death rate is at 0.63 per cent.
