Kathmandu, Oct. 5 : Gone are the days when the service-seekers would queue up in the serpentine line or jostle in the crowd in the Metropolitan Traffic Police Division (MTPD) in Kathmandu to avail the service while it would take longer for the staffers here to render services.

The Metropolitan Traffic Police Division (MTPD) has recently launched online services in view of facilitating the service-seekers.

The online service would also help prevent the risks of COVID-19 among the staffers at the MTPD and the service-seekers at the time when the cases of the deadly infection and its casualties were increasing in the country.

The service-seekers could submit their application online in any traffic related cases or lodge their complaints in any.

They could notify the traffic police office in case their vehicles met with an accident or are stolen or their papers such as license and bluebook were lost.

MTPD’s chief SSP Bhim Prasad Dhakal shared that his office put in place the online services to transact traffic related works in safer, easier and swifter manner at the time of health crisis like this.

The service-seekers could log into traffic.nepalpolice.gov.np and file the report.

Report could be registered online both in Nepali and English, informed MTPD Computer Department chief police inspector, Suresh Kumar Thapa.
