By TRN Online, Kathmandu, July 6: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) confirmed yet another COVID-19 death on Monday.

A 29-year old COVID-19 patient of Nishikhola Municipality-3 in Baglung district, placed in quarantine set up at Dhorpatan Municipality, succumbed to the virus on July 5, said Dr Jageshwor Gautam, spokesperson of the ministry in the daily press briefing today.

He was a tuberculosis patient and had recently returned from India after getting his treatment done.

Meanwhile, Dr Gautam also confirmed 180 positive cases of COVID-19 including 54 in the Kathmandu Valley.

With this, the COVID-19 death toll in Nepal has reached 35 and the COVID-19 caseload has climbed to 15,964 including 6,811 cases of recovery.
