By TRN Online, Kathmandu, July 29: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 15 cases of COVID-19 in Kathmandu valley today.
In 6,037 Real Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests performed in the last 24 hours, as many as 15 persons were found with the virus infection in Kathmandu valley, said Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, spokesperson of the ministry in the daily press briefing today.
Of the 15 infected, 14 are from Kathmandu and one is from Bhaktapur. No new case of virus infection was recorded in Lalitpur today.
On Tuesday, 53 cases of virus infection were confirmed in the valley.
Meanwhile, 210 new cases of virus infection were confirmed across the valley today, taking the tally to 19,273 including 14,021 cases of recovery and 49 death cases.
