Kathmandu, Nov.7: Veteran comedian Manoj Gajurel is now undergoing treatment for COVID-19 at the Armed Police Hospital in Balambu.
Gajurel tested positive for coronavirus on October 26, which he had informed the public through social media.
He had informed through Facebook that he had contracted coronavirus while taking his brother to hospital.
He had tested COVID -19 after he showed symptoms like fever and body ache.
He was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital after being diagnosed with lung problems.
According to Laxman Gamnage, a satirical poet, Gajurel was taken to the hospital on Wednesday after he faced respiratory problems.
Gamnage said that when Gajurel’s oxygen level dropped, he was admitted to the ICU on Thursday.
He also informed that his condition was improving.
Gajurel informed through social media that he had contracted the coronavirus even though he had adopted all safety measures.
He wrote on Facebook last Tuesday that his health condition had not completely improved and that his body was reacting differently.
