Kathmandu, Jan. 14: The second audition of ‘Super Plus Size Model’-2021 is to be held on January 23 in Kathmandu.
Model Songs Nepal is organizing a competition with the slogan ‘All shapes are beautiful’.
This is the third edition of the super plus size model contest.
The first audition of the competition was held on Saturday in Kathmandu.
There were 26 contestants in the audition and out of 26 participants nine have been selected for the finals.
The contestants were selected by the judging panel including TV personality Saroj Ojha, actor Deepak Dotel, choreographer Rojin Sakya and plus size model Ruby Mahato.
After selecting additional models from the second audition, the organizer - Model Songs Nepal - will start grooming workshops for selected contestants for the finale.
Participants will be trained by popular choreographer Rojin Sakya. Devil Singh Rajput, the chief organizer, said that the title winner would have the opportunity to represent Nepal in the International Beauty Contest - ‘World Top Plus Size’- 2021.
In addition, the best three runners-up will receive various gift hampers and will also have the opportunity to participate in various national and international competitions and fashion shows, said Rajput.
The main purpose of organizing this competition is to develop the ability and encourage the obese women who feel inferior due to obesity, said Rajput.
Married or unmarried women between the ages of 16 and 55 can participate in the competition.
To participate in the competition, participants must be over 55 kilograms and clearly seen overweight. This organization is organizing ‘Mr. Plus Size Nepal’ as well.
