By A Staff Reporter , Bhaktapur, April 1 , Nepali singers and artistes like Durgesh Thapa, Shiv Pariyar, Preeti Ale, Kamal Khatri, Arjun Kaushal, Bishal Thing, Sandhya Budha (Kauli Budhi), Ramesh Bhattarai, Jyoti Magar, Rose Moktan, Kumar Sagar, Manisha Shrestha, Sujal Madhikarmi and others are going to perform at the second Bhaktapur Cultural, Trade and Fagupurne Festival- 2021 that kicked off here on Wednesday.

Being organised by Mamata Kendra Nepal, the three-day day festival will continue at Maheshwori Sports Ground in Bhaktapur.

Chairman of the organising center and festival coordinator Sangam Lama informed that the fair was organised with the objective of promoting local culture and produce from a single place.
Various cultural songs and dances will be performed during the festival, informed Lama.

Altogether 100 stalls of different items are in put in display. The stalls are stocked with clothes, stalls of various companies, sports goods and other daily use goods.

He informed that the festival was managed by Changunarayan Party Palace and Test House Pvt. Karate competition, Bhaktapur Dance Idol-2021 and various sports events are attractions of the fair, said Lama.
The festival was formally inaugurated on Wednesday by Bhaktapur Municipality Mayor Sunil Prajapati.

The organisers have estimated that around 200,000 people from Kavre, Sindhupalchowk and Ramechhap districts, including the Kathmandu Valley will observe the festival.
