By A Staff Reporter , Kathmandu, Apr. 8 : Film Shree, whose shooting had completed in 72 hours, will be released on Friday.
Everest Surya Bohara has made the film during the lockdown. Bohora is both producer and director of the film.
The film is set to be released on the occasion of the Nepali New Year as there has been no new film to screen on the occasion.
The film is done by Sandeep Chhetri, Barsha Siwakoti, Buddhi Tamang, Rajaram Poudel, Basundhara Bhusal, Rabindra Jha, Bhola Sapkota, Kamal Jung Bohra (Qazi), Mohan Krishna Shrestha, Sabita Gurung, Nabin Shrestha, Shyam Sundar Pudasaini and child artiste Nyasika Karki.
Distributor Karan Shrestha informed that the film, which they earlier planned to release only on OTT, will now be screened in the hall.
Speaking at a programme, Shrestha said that he had contacted director Bohara in the United States and the latter gave him the responsibility to screen the film Shree in the hall.
The film, produced under the banner of Everest Surya Bohara Films, in collaboration with Maharani Entertainment UK and OSR Digital, was filmed following government-issued health safety standards.
The dialogue is written by Shivam Adhikari and Sudip Kunwar is the Chief Assistant Director.
The film, based on a social suspense story, is produced by Parajuli and Sabita Gurung and co-produced by Yama Baral, Surya Sinkhada (Sairam), Bal Sharma (Tiger) and Sindhu Poudel Gautam.
Director Bohara said that Shree was made to keep the Nepali film industry afloat even in difficult times.
