Shooting of ‘Life in LA’ completes

Tanahun, Aug. 28: Filmmakers have been jobless for over one and a half years as filmmaking has been stalled because of coronavirus. In the meantime, making of a big budget movie Life in LA has been in progress.
One of the producers and main lead actor Bash Bissau of the film said that 30 artistes and technicians are involved in the film. He believed that the film would support to provide relief to them who have remained unemployed for a long time.

According to Bissau, the film was shot in Los Angeles in the USA and Nepal. He informed that shooting of the film began four months ago in beautiful places of Pokhara, Tanahun and various cities in the United States. Bissau and other producers have invested Rs. 12 million in the movie, whose shooting has already been completed.

He added that a song, Pagal Premi sung by Pratap Das and Kavita Shrestha will be released on Monday. Similarly, another song Udayer Aafai Timi sung by Prabisa Adhikari and Pratap Das will also be released soon, said Bissau.
The film unit has targeted to release their movie during upcoming Dashain and Tihar festivals. Artistes from both Nepal and the US have been featured in the film.

Bissau, an engineer by profession, has also been active in entertainment, sports in Los Angeles and various cities in the United States for the past one decade. But Life in LA will be his first Nepali film as an actor.
Bissau has done lead role as a male actor while Shilpa Maskey and Akesha Bistha from New Jersey, USA, are in the female leads. Other actors in the film are journalist Bishnu Gautam, Jared Bilaps, Ayush KC, Prabin Khatri, Jayendra Silwal and Shyam Bhujel.

Los Angeles-based social activists Anil KC, Uttam Thapa, Bishal Dhakal, Rajan Adhikari, Nalina Chitrakar, Narayan Khanal, Gopal Yogi and Gokul Poudyal among others have also done the movie.
Sansar Subedi is executive producer of the film.
Surya Shrestha, who is studying film in Hollywood, is the director of the movie. Earlier, he had directed various programmes in Nepal including the popular TV serial Cafe Kantipur aired by Kantipur Television in 2007.
Similarly, Rajendra Thakuri, a graduate in film study from the United States, is also a producer of the film.

The film, co-produced by Bash Entertainment, had hired Chris Warren as a cameraman. Warren has filmed several Hollywood films.
According to Bissau, 70 per cent of the film was shut in the United States and 30 per cent in Nepal.
