Kathmandu, Dec 1: The film industry, which came to a grinding halt following COVID-19 pandemic, is gradually moving forward. 

Although cinema halls continue to remain closed, announcements of and shootings for new films have already begun.
Depak Oli’s Krishna Leela, which was announced before the Dashain festival, finally started filming last Friday.
The film unit started shooting from Jhapa in eastern Nepal, and has recently moved to Ilam. Executive Producer Ratna Shrestha said that the filming of the romantic song Kunai Din Yasto Pani Zindagani directed by Deepak Oli and penned by Laxman Subedi is ongoing at Panitar tea garden in Ilam.
While Anju Pant and Sugam Pokhrel have lent their voice to the song, Arjun Pokhrel composed the music and Ramji Lamichhane choreographed the dance sequence.
Choreographer Lamichhane said that the song was extremely beautiful. Actor Pushpa Khadka and actress Shraddha Chhetri will be seen sharing the screen in the song.
The film will be made under the banner of RR Films with Rohit Kattel’s presentation with Prakash Karki and Kewal Tamang producing the film.
The film stars Pushpa Khadka, Shraddha Chhetri, Buddhi Tamang, Rabindra Jha, Nabin Regmi, Hiuwala Gautam, Bhavana Gurung, Ayush Guragail among others.
Shot in multiple locations, director Oli said that the filming of the song will be completed on the banks of the Koshi River. All of the film’s shooting will be done in Eastern Nepal, he added.
