Kathmandu, Feb. 29 With the wedding season of the year coming to an end, celebrities of the Nepali filmdom are now busy tying nuptial knot or preparing for the same.
When actress Priyanka Karki and actor Ayushman Deshraj tied the nuptial knot at Park Village Resort
in Kathmandu on Friday, another actress Aanchal Sharma is going to marry
Dr. Udip Shrestha, her boyfriend soon.
Karki and Deshraj, who had been in relationship for some years, exchanged engagement rings last year.
They have been posting photos of bachelor parties on social media sites for the past few days.
According to Raveena Deshraj Shrestha, a banker, her son Ayushman  Deshraj and Karki had a court marriage0
on February 27 at the Lalitpur district court.
Karki made her debut in Nepali film with 3 Lovers, which failed commercially. But her fame rose with the release of Jholey in 2014. She became further popular after the release of Chhakka Panja.
Likewise, Deshraj has entered the film industry from Chapali Height- 2 and emerged as a successful actor of the silver screen.
Similarly, Sharma and Dr. Shrestha who were in love for years had their engagement last week.
According to sources, they are planning to marry in March.
‘Nai Nabhanu La 4” was Sharma’s debut movie. She also did ‘Shatru Gate. Her ‘Jhinge Dau’ is yet to be released. Besides, she had several music videos to her credit.
Likewise, Richa Sharma, actor and model, married her longtime boyfriend Dipekshya Bikram Rana in December last year.
Even in Bollywood, many celebrities got married in 2019 and 2020.
While Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma and Birat Kohli, Sonam Kapoor and Anad Ahuja had already tied their nuptial knot, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are all set to marry soon.
