Kathmandu, Aug. 13 :Actor Paul Shah is establishing himself as a shining star of music videos.
Shah is giving back-to-back hits with his latest video “Maya Garaunla”, currently trending at no. 1 on YouTube. His other recent songs “Mayalu Timi Kata Chhau 2” and “Ye Hai Maya” have also been hits.
In fact, almost all the songs he has featured in have been a huge success.
This has been a return to roots of sorts for Shah though, who entered the film industry through music videos.
He had appeared in over 200 videos before debuting on the big screen with the commercially successful fourth sequel of the “Nai Nabhannu La” film series.
His most recent film “Ma Yesto Geet Gauchhu 2”, in which he stars opposite to actress Pooja Sharma, was preparing for release when the COVID-19 pandemic hit and stalled everything.
Shah has also been finalised for Santosh Sen's new comedy film “Hu Tu Tu”, where he will share the screen with legendary actor Hari Bansha Acharya and some of his contemporaries, including Pradip Khadka, Najir Husen and Salon Basnet, among others.
With the film industry halted right now because of the coronavirus outbreak, artists like Dayahang Rai, Bipin Karki, Keki Adhikari, Aanchal Sharma, Barsha Siwakoti, Namrata Sapkota and others, who are more commonly known for their film roles, have been busy with music videos lately.
However, Shah holds an especially bankable name in the sector and his involvement in humanitarian works during the recent nationwide lockdown served to further endear him to the masses.
