Kathmandu, Jan. 18: Actor and successful director Nischal Basnet on his birthday on Sunday announced making of yet another new movie.
Wishing happy birthday to himself through social media, he announced that he would make a new movie “Jindabaad” this year.
“Happy birthday Nischal, I can be a good person; I can make a good movie. I gave myself the best of luck. I will direct ‘Jindabaad’ this year,” he has written.
Nischal has directed three films so far and all his films have become popular among the moviegoers.
When the Nepali film industry was in a great crisis amid deepening political uncertainty in the country, his film “Loot” released in 2012 was succeeded to give a new lease of life to Nepali film industry.
After Loot became a box-office hit film, the entire Nepali film industry took a big stride. His Loot also changed the storytelling style in the Nepali film industry.
His other movies were “Talk Jung vs Tulke and
“Loot 2”.
Besides, he has also done the role of an actor and a model.
