Kathmandu, Aug. 9: The Voice of Nepal declared Kiran Gajmer as the winner of its 3rd edition during a grand finale organised Saturday midnight. Gajmer competed with Tara Shirish Magar, Aryan Tamang and Jwala Rai in the final.

Kiran won against Tara in the decision based on voting. Nepalis across the world had voted for the finalists for a week through SMS and online. The four finalists also gave a mesmerising performance during the grand finale.
Born in the Bhutaneese refugee camp of Jhapa, Gajmer’s parents had come to Nepal in the 1990s.

Gajmer won the title from coach Pramod Kharel’s team. He also received Rs. 2.5 million and a trophy. After being declared the winner, Gajmer said that his dream came true. Gajmer had come to Nepal from the United States of America for the 3rd season of the Voice of Nepal. He was already relocated in the United States following the resettlement programme.
After winning the trophy, Kiran became emotional and informed that his dream had come true.

Team Pramod’s contestant won the title of the reality show for the second time in a row. Earlier, Ram Limbu had won the title from Pramod’s team.
The reality show was aired on Himalaya TV every Friday and Saturday from 8 pm.
