Jha elected ANTA’s new president

Kathmandu, Nov 17: Aprajita Jha has been elected as a new president of Association of Nepali Teraian in America (ANTA).
The election for the central executive committee was fought between two groups independently led by Jha and Subodh Mallik.
Online voting for the election took place from November 12 to November 15, Jha said.
According to her, the newly-elected executive committee has been announced on the occasion of ANTA’s 5th Convention on Sunday.
The convention has been organised in Des Moines, the provincial capital of Iowa State in US.
Chief Minister of State 2 Lal Babu Raut has participated in the convention as a chief guest.
Similarly, chief attorney of State 2 Dipendra Jha and chairperson of Muslim Commission Samim Miya Ansari were present in the convention as special guests.
According to the election results, new office bearers are Indra Dev Sahu (Senior Vice-President), Dhiraj Chaudhary (General Secretary), Anil Dwivedy (Vice-President, International), Randhir Sharma (Vice-President, National), Mukesh Karna (Treasurer) and Mohan Kumar Yadav (Spokesperson).
Similarly, Bindeshwar Sah and Santosh Sah have been chosen as Joint Secretary and Joint Treasurer respectively.
Likewise, Manish Singh, Sunaina Chaudhary, Kusheshwar Mandal, Kushnandan Thakur and Prabhat Jha have been picked as Executive Members.
Nearly four hundred voters took part in the election process, newly-elected spokesperson Yadav said.
