By TRN Online, Sankhu (Kathmandu), Jan. 28: A month-long fasting and reading Swasthani Katha, a holy book of Hindus, has begun from today. It is believed that wishes can be fulfilled by the recital of Swasthani Katha by fasting for goddess Swasthani.
On the first day of this holy month-long festival, devotees have throng Salinadi River at Sankhu, in Sankharapur Municipality, in the northeast corner of the Kathmandu Valley.
