By Our Correspondent, Gaindakot, Mar. 11: A man has been remanded in custody by the District Court in Eastern Nawalparasi on the charge of raping his own daughter.
According to the District Police Office, Nawalparasi (East), the man has been remanded in custody by the court.
The 38-year-old father, a permanent resident of Binaya Tribeni Rural Municipality-4, was arrested by the police.
Dilip Kumar Giri, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, said that the man had repeatedly raped his 13-year-old daughter for the past five years. Identities of both the victim and the father were not revealed.
The incident came to light after the accused father, who had absconded to India, raped the daughter last time in November 2020, after he returned home.
